SEVEN COLOURS COLLECTION

The Seven Colors Collection is inspired on the topography of the northern hills which have that same name. A multicolor festival which blends into the Purmamarca landscape and reflects in its ancient layers the sediments that were deposited there.

Mantara takes up this northern milestone and launches a collection which blends geometry, nature and landscape. Natural dyes, wool from sheep brought up with respect, commitment and a unique design. The landscape inspires us, shakes us, it challenges us.

The environment is part of Mantara’s DNA because Nature shows the way to go.

Geometric designs. That was the starting point for these pieces whose lines dialogue with the geography of the place. The path of colors and shapes is not random. From the very heart of Salta these designs are incorporated to the Mantara family.

The natural palette is achieved with walnut shell, cochineal. The use of the baeton technique is what allows the dialogue between geometry and color.

The white is the natural color from our sheep, whom we raise and care for with all the love in the world.

We love the landscape. We love the local ingredients.

The hill of Seven Colors was declared in 2003 part of the World Heritage List due to its great cultural value.

Its origin dates from 75 million years ago.

It is made up of marine, lacustrine and fluvial sediments, which were deposited in the region for ages.
